I love that most of this read like a season of Downton Abbey! (I miss that show!)
It was interesting to learn about the unrest in Ireland around WW1.

Fun story! I loved Grace and her dad. I also loved the movie quotes at the beginning of each chapter!

I loved every minute of this book! Paisley and Cade were perfect. Great Western romance

It was an okay book but the ending fell flat to me

"I know there is sadness, amid the joy, in every story" Isn't that the truth?
It was a good story but a little lacking in something for me, but I can't be sure what. Perhaps it was the jumping around in time lines so often.

Hard situations to read about and sometimes I wanted someone to shake Eden to wake her up and get her talking about what happened to her! But I was also crying at the end when it all finally came out.

I loved Susanna. Yes, she was lead to believe that she had to marry well (like it was in that day). But she eventually grew out of it and learned to love Ben. I loved that she was so willing to help Dottie. I loved her Grandma-- who knew who her heart belonged to long before Susanna did. Ben was a great guy and a great hero.
I loved that it drew some from the real lives of John and Abigail Adams. It was interesting to read the author's note about what she used.

I love her writing!
This was a book that pulled me in quick and held my heart in suspense and awe.
