Found it kind of boring and the ending didn't satisfy me at all.
This was a beautiful and heartbreaking book! I was crying at the end. I think this was different than any WW2 book I have ever read and probably my favorite.
It was an interesting read. I didn't like it as much as The Selection series though
Sara is a quirky, book-obsessed girl from Sweden who travels to a quirky Iowa town to meet a fellow book obsessed pen pal. When she arrives, her pen pal is dead and the residents of this town takes her under their (very odd at times) wings.

It was an okay book but the ending was HORRIBLE! It ended abruptly and didn't satisfy me at all
Part of this story was based from true horrific events in the late 1800s in Washington State. I was totally immersed in the story!
