What an amazing book! I liked the twists that were thrown in there even though I only figured out one of them before it was revealed. There was a lot in this book that would catch me by surprise. Good read
Oh my, what a book! I actually figured out part of the mystery way before it's told in the book (which never happens to me so it was pretty exciting). I blew right through the last half of the book. Great mystery story with a bit of romance and scandal.
I read this book in 2 days. It just pulled me in from the very beginning! Sad book. I never saw that end coming, I really hoped it would have ended differently.
I loved this book! I know that I would have been the same as Jane, not really feeling like I could "inhabit" another personality especially in Regency era. I thought Jane was a great lead character. I loved Miss Charming also!
I loved this book as much as the first one! I loved the added mystery into this one.
I loved getting to know more about some key players in the series, especially Marlee. She was one of my other favorites in The Selection series. Although her story was kind of hard to read because it recounted the caning of her and Carter
Sad story about a school shooting and how hard it becomes when one set of parent's are left not knowing where there son is and if he was involved in the execution of the shooting.
I quickly put myself into Simon and Rachel's shoes. I can imagine the hardships they go through in this book.
The book made me cry at the end quite a bit

Amber is the belle of the current London season until an unexplained (seeming) illness strikes (with Alopecia universalis, a condition characterized by the complete loss of hair on the scalp and body) although at the time of this story is not really known about and so no one can explain it and she is shunned by the very society that adored her.
I thought that I wouldn't like Amber's story because she seemed so selfish when she was "the belle of the ball" but through living in "exile" she becomes a better person and ends up with Thomas (who at one point helps her out through a very small act the very night society shuns her). Thomas was such a sweet person. The romance aspect is more in the background so I wouldn't quite call it a romance but was a great story nonetheless.
