Wow, what a heart wrenching story ! I cried through most of this book, but also felt so much of the spirit! Hard thing for that family to have gone through

Reading the preview makes this book seems like just a good old mystery that needs to be solved. Ugh... OK, so Ella Mae had an affair with her next door neighbor, did we really need the sex scenes about it? It could have been told that they had an affair and that he turned violent without all the details.... Lots of language too that I didn't care for. If those had been left out or reduced, I would have liked it better
