The problem with reading a book you really love is how honestly sad it is when you reach the ending. This was one of my favorite stories growing up and I just finished re-reading it for the first time as an adult. As much magic and positive energy as it held for me as a child, I was captivated as an adult. The imagery and emotion is so endearing.

The first two-thirds or three-quarters of the book are absolutely better than the ending, which is a bit particularly far-fetched and moves very rapidly unlike the rest of the story, but everyone loves a happy ending so it works out.
