Loved this growing up... Not sure that it would be quite so enjoyable as an adult, but a huge recommendation to share with your girls as they grow.

imaginative, fun, and a glorious beginning. easy reading, nothing too glamorous in the actual language itself, but the story itslef is one of the best I've read. Rowling paints a colorful, detailed world for readers to live in with the characters themselves.
