This book took me so long to read because it is one of the most tedious, dull, disorganized, and poorly written biographies I have ever encountered.
Healthy Disclosure: Solving Communication Quandaries in Congregations
Kibbie Simmons Ruth, Karen A. McClintock
So interesting and history that I knew absolutely nothing about!
What a shame that with the peace came so many regressions after these women proved themselves more than capable throughout WW1.
The only thing I didn't like was how much time was given over to the memoirs of one junior doctor who had not really liked the COs and didn't agree with their suffragette views--why devote so much space to someone like that?
I really loved the descriptions of how they observed holidays and how the hospital was open a year or more even after the Armistice, because of the fall out of casualties and the flu epidemic.
