Starts intriguing, quickly becomes dull
The author sets up an exciting premise at first, and then almost completely un-does it by the end of the book.

Astonishingly powerful
Her writing, her story, her theological framing, her sensitivity and questions, her reflection, all of it was so brave and so powerful to share

Wow!
This book blew me away! I had thought it was a little plodding at first, but wow, what an ending!

At Home in this Life: Finding Peace at the Crossroads of Unraveled Dreams and Beautiful Surprises
Merely okay
This is solid writing and interpretation, but it is some obvious conclusions, some vapid interactions passed off as profound, and at times, overly detailed

Wow
Partway into this book, I thought, “I am gonna finish this, but I will not give it higher than a 3”. Well, I am happy to be wrong.
Perhaps this will give encouragement to those of you bogged down in the early part of the book: it is SO worth it to get through it. There are two parts to the book and the second part is better than the first and it just explodes with excitement, but you need the first half in order to understand. Persevere!
