This seemed to go really slow (and kind of boring) - but I did not guess who was the murderer(s) until the end - which kind of redeemed it to 3 stars… (but just barely - I almost quit reading midway thru)

Seriously, every man in the town is handsome and into Lila? Every person immediately spills whatever they know to whoever they are talking to? And how many restaurants have to have the EXACT SAME EXPERIENCE being pressured by the health inspector to use a particular contractor?

I read this back to back with “It happened one summer” — and I liked Hannah’s story more than Piper’s

I was wondering why the cat was imaginary - so I thought that twist was interesting

Did not finish - I was excited to read a story about women who had been friends for 80 years but all the characters are annoying me so I am going to give up on this 20% thru

There were a lot of characters that I struggled to keep straight - but not a bad way to pass some time with a tame love story (more learning to love oneself I guess)

I liked this quite a bit - I probably should re-read this regularly as I find my next curve
