Lack of world building, magic explained and the family dynamics. Over filled with smut, gaslighting and verbal abuse. Now a random creature with the MFC…. I just could not hang in afterwards. 

I’m struggling with this book and decided to come back to it at another time. 

It’s too much for me

I made it to chapter 12, page 107 and decided I’m not willing to push through. This has dragged to this point and I’m not invested in these characters enough to continue.

This was a book pick for a book club I joined. I saw decent reviews and thought I’d read this in two different readathons: Realmathon 3.0 and BW. 

Unfortunately, this book is all over the place. Aside from the confusing plot (if you can call it a plot), the scenes and transitions were chopped and quick. I also am not a fan of multiple partners. It’s pretty clear that’s the direction this book is headed. 

I think the most shocking part is that there are more books in this series 🤯

This book was a mess. Couldn’t connect to either character. 

This dragged so much. There are interesting elements but then it just fizzles out. I might try again another time. 

This became boring and uninteresting.

She should get to the damn point!! It was unnecessarily long.
