This book is so beautiful and resilient, and the world building is truly phenomenal. I took away one star because towards the end the dialogue seemed a bit lazy but in all i definitely recommend if you are a sci fi fan.

Truly a work of art!! Pretty confusing in the beginning because half the characters are named #1 through #10 and you have to remember which is which. If you like Tekkonkinkreet or Black & White by the same author u will love this.
Most of the stories seem like they would make good childrens stories. Very beautiful but just not my cup of tea.

This book is so beautiful and interesting, i think it could have greatly benefited from like just one illustration!! The language was super descriptive but i was so curious about the author’s intended visions. Also prepare yourself for the main character vomiting every 5 seconds. The only thing was that, maybe because it was translated from the original language, some of the Aha-moments did not register with me the way i could tell they were supposed to. Otherwise definitely read this!!
