The concept of this book is so interesting and I really wanted to love it but I found the three main characters so incredibly boring. Kathy (the narrator) just feels so one dimensional and is just reacting to whatever Ruth does. I could not understand what connection made them such close friends or why I was meant to care about them. 

loved this book but was super uncomfortable with the narrator and yuki's relationship, would have been a five star read if not for his creepy obsession with her 

possibly my favourite book of the year, so enthralling but left me with so many questions
