Touching on darker subjects, if you are thinking of dipping a toe into a romance with darker tones this is a good start. 

The main characters are lovable, but also frustrating and annoying at times, just like real people. 

I felt like the story over all was good, but could have been 100 pages shorter. Not that I can say which bits needed cutting- it just felt like it took a long time to read somehow 😅

Sprinkling of spice through out about a 2/5 🌶 imo.
