My first Christopher Moore book. I loved it! Funny and entertaining, I could barely put it down. I loved the weirdness of the characters and the peculiar plot - supernatural without being cheesy. Excellent read!

I hadn't read any of Preston's other books and according to other reviews, I understand this isn't his finest. I thought the idea of the story was very cool, but it wasn't as science fictiony as I was expecting. I think the story could have played out a bit better but overall I did really enjoy this read - it only started to lose my interest once toward the end, but aside from that I really couldn't put it down. Sure, the characters aren't the most in depth and a few things don't add up, but it's definitely an entertaining read with an interesting plot.

This book is pretty hard to review, because it's not a book exactly. Well, it is, but it's really just a collection of bits of stories, of varying topics, bound up in book format. I happened to see it at the library while actually looking for another book, so I picked it up. It's entertaining enough, and a quick read - if nothing else, you can read it for that reason. I read it in one afternoon. It's enjoyable, fairly amusing at parts, but despite the title there really isn't any point at all.

Typical Shopaholic/Sophie Kinsella book! Funny, silly, lot of mix-ups and secrets with everything coming together in the end, one way or another, and setting up for a new Brandon (née Bloomwood) adventure.

I feel like I need to go run out and buy supplies. And plan.

Honestly, this book is stressful. All it really made me do was realize how unlikely it is that I will actually last longer than the first half hour should a zombie outbreak occur.

Most interestingly, it was in the non-fiction section at my local library.

I really enjoyed this book. It had an interesting storyline and continuously held my interest.

I noticed that some other folks reviewing this book are commenting on the writing itself. When I read, I read to entertain - I'm looking for an interesting story that doesn't get boring at any point throughout the book. Sure, when it comes to writing skill, proper use of grammar, punctuation, and impeccable spelling is a MUST. Aside from that, I'm not looking for a literary masterpiece. If I wanted to pick apart and judge writing, I'd take a literature course at university. I'm not going to, because I have no interest, so I read entertaining stories.

I don't know much about Russell Brand so I thought this might be an interesting read. I think if you're a big fan, it would be great. The book is essentially just like being a groupie, re-living all of his stories and craziness and escapades with women. I'm a fan of Katy Perry, though, and I thought the things he wrote about her (in case you don't know, she is now his wife) were very sweet.
