Very fun chapter book with lots of D&D references. A kids vs monster tale.

I love beauty industry horror. 
A former pianist gets a job at a fancy, famous, and highly experimental beauty company. Things go exactly according to plan and everything is ethical and above board and totally normal. Just kidding. 

I’ll come back to this at some point - I kept spacing out and had no idea what was happening. 

If you like The VVitch, you will like Slewfoot! 

This was Cordie’s first horror book ever, and she liked how the TV Head is a monster and I liked the main character Ethan dealing with anxiety and overcoming his fears to save his friends. I also loved the aspect of standing up to adults and defending your passions. 

Amazing YA Horror anthology with 13 stories written by BIPOC authors, and in which indeed the white guy always dies first.

The sequel to Shutter. Rita’s really going through it, and there’s a serial killer who thinks he’s being righteous while murdering people.
