This book would be perfect for young adults who are interested in the Gilliam Flynn type books but aren’t quite ready for Gone Girl. The content is rated pg-13 or R, but the writing and dialogue is closer to middle grade. It’s a good intro to murder mystery thrillers. I was pleased that all of the loose ends were tied up in a bloody bow at the end.

A bit predictable, but a fun read nonetheless.

This book made me thirsty. In this dystopian future, the droughts in California become catastrophic and millions of people are left without any water at all. In less than a week, society crumbles and all hell breaks loose. This book made me want to line my walls with bottled water, you know, just in case.

This book is an utter delight. It’s rakish and raucous and fun and delicious and sweet and romantic all wrapped up in an exhilarating adventure.

Being pulled into the world of your favorite story sounds awesome, right? Be careful what you wish for.
Four friends are transported into the world of their favorite book/film, but it's a dystopian novel and the story starts to shift around them and before long they're swept up in the chaos and destruction and the only way to get home is to complete the canon story.
This book was fun, exciting, and at times surprising. A perfect story for readers of YA and people who delve deep into their favorite fandoms. Fans of "Fangirl" will love this one.
