An unreliable main character, chapters written in reverse chronology, and a whole lotta mystery and lies. I love the way it unfolds, I love the surprises, and I love the way the story knits together as a whole.
This book is bittersweet and beautiful. It is first love and best friends and letters and loss and books. It is heartachingly lovely.
Crisp, clear, succinct writing crackles through this novel about magicians in New York and their quest for power.
It's the late 80s and a group of girls are delivering newspapers when all hell breaks loose. Monsters, time travel, murder, Paper Girls has it all. Volume 1 left me hungry for more, which isn't surprising coming from Brian K Vaughan, the author of many awesome graphic novels including the spectacular Saga.
More, please! I can't get enough! It's as addicting as Saga.
A handguide to gaslighting an entire country. Felt a little too real this time around.
