This book is so much fun. Because LBD was so multi-platform, I chose to re-watch the videos as I read the book (the entries in the book are dated, so it was easy to know when to stop reading to watch a video, and when to pause a video to read an entry). The diary entries are "behind the scenes" - all the stuff we didn't get to see in Lizzie's videos. (Darcy's letter is in there!) It was a fun companion to the videos, and I'm glad I read it - it gave LBD another level of depth that I didn't realize was possible. If you're a fan of LBD, consider reading this one. I'd be interested to see how it holds up *without* rewatching the videos simultaneously. I like to think that she references the content of her videos enough that it would hold up.

The story is pretty interesting and though the characters are kind of flat, I still felt for them and connected with them.
