A great MG horror novel of two kids on the run from beasts, trying to get to their dad as they navigate the danger of other humans, the beasts, and starvation. These kids are sweet and resilient in the face of massive, massive trauma. 

EROTIC HORROR. Kinsey is *very* into viruses. This book is a locked door of Thing-like horror with sexual tension pulsing and oozing through the cracks and rattling the doorknob. 

Cute and steamy and sweet. NB/F romance. Best friends to Lovers. 

I like this series a lot. 

DILF BOOK! Actually it’s about moving through grief and finding love after grief but also it’s a steamy book about a hot DILF. 

A beautiful juxtaposition of memoir and nature in a journey through the ocean and queerness. 

Lovely, wrenching poems about the trans experience. Is poetry my thing? No. Did I appreciate these regardless? Yes. 

A great YA Book with Magic and romance and danger! I really like the Magic system and the complications. Alchemists are feared and hated, and unlicensed alchemists care illegal. I loved the way gender can be presented in this (a simple projection of the gender they’re feeling and others can sense it and respond accordingly). Also, not just a love triangle, but…a TRIAD?! Beautiful. 

There are two short stories in this book: one  about a self driving car that turns murderous, and the other about a man who plans to kill himself via ocean. The stories are compelling and dark. This book could probably use one more pass of edits, there are some typos and inconsistencies, but the author is certainly on the right track, and I’ll be curious to see what he publishes next!

This book is more self help than memoir. Keke Palmer is an enthusiastic, confident woman who wants to share her formula of success with others, particularly Millenials. This book is insightful, engaging, and full of life tips, with stories from Palmer’s life to add context and examples.
