This book gave me quite the book hangover. I feel pretty desperate for book 3, so consider me in love with the story. Thank you RY for keeping us on our toes, it’s so fun! This is one of those series where I feel like the hype from the fandom is worth it. Gimme more!

The first couple stories were a slog for me to get through, but by the end I was wishing I had read this first, because to go from this right into Throne of Glass would have made all the events of TOG more exciting.

This book had a good premise, but I never really fell for the couple. I’m not really sure what was missing for me. Haven’t picked up the next book yet.
