I am once again reminded that vampire books just really aren't my thing....

Very eh. The main character just seemed pretty shallow all the way through despite (SPOILERS) losing loved ones at an age where it had major impacts on her and having to learn how to take care of herself without basically any prior knowledge about how the world really works. That may be because of the narrator too, but the writing style just was not my favorite. It was written to be like diary entries, which is fine. But the language style and word choice did not seem to change as she got older, which made it fairly strange to listen to when she is an adult. I won't be reading further. 

I don’t know. I just wasn't vibing with it at all. Looked up some reviews and learned more about it and the main storyline just doesn’t seem like something I would want to spend time reading, so I put it down. Not big into high school drama style books 🤷🏼‍♀️
