There's a lot I really enjoyed about this volume but the business with the slave trader was unpleasant to read and so I can't rate it any higher than this despite loving other parts of the story. The saving grace is that he did free the two slaves. 

This is a fun, comedy Isekai that is deliberately over-the-top, trope-heavy, and occasionally just plain silly. I first enjoyed the anime so decided to sell out the manga. They both work because the main character is genuinely very likeable and even the smaller characters tend to be entertaining. I didn't find myself laughing out loud at any point in this first volume, but it did put a smile on my face.
