This was a cute fantasy romance and I had a fun time with it - I probably will continue the series.
The water dragon god Rin is rather adorable, especially as someone unused to the human world (admittedly in real life having someone constantly pushing after being told 'no' would not be romantic, but this is fiction and he's sweet). Chiharu is my favourite, I really like him as a character and I'm happy that he doesn't just fall for Rin straight away (NB the "explicit content" warning on the cover is certainly not true at least for volume 1!).
This won't blow anyone away but it's a fun way to spend an hour or two.

I believe this is the final book in the Dread Wood series and it's a suitably chilling one. I had the book playing on headphones whilst in the park walking the dogs... and rather regretted it when insects kept landing on me while I was listening to a story about creepy caterpillars. Shiver.
As with all the books in this series, there's a real heart to the story and a focus on friendship. I've really enjoyed the whole series and I'm looking forward to checking out the next thing Killick writes.

Everything I wanted from this volume was there. I felt so many emotions reading it.
This is among the best volumes of the series to date, with some great action scenes (they'll no doubt look amazing when the anime reaches this part of the story) and an ending that left me absolutely desperate for volume 12.
