His Reluctant Rancher is a fantastic story about healing, falling in love, and finding your footing again. For more, please visit http://romanticreadsandsuch.wordpress.com/2013/03/12/his-reluctant-rancher/
I loved Heath and Andie together. The idea of the friends to lovers storyline has always been one of my favorites and this one has a little Ugly Duckling thrown in just to make me extra happy. At about 150 pages, The Make Believe Wedding is a little more than novella length but it reads super-fast. With a years-long friendship to guide them, the interactions between Heath and Andie are both fun and sweet. While the premise might seem a little far-fetched, Mayberry makes it work and once the two are a couple for real it is wonderful.

We’ve seen both Kerry and Grey in the previous stories and we’ve watched as they’ve danced around their attraction to each. But with Officer in Pursuit we finally get a chance to find out why Kerry has been resisting the oh-so-sexy officer. I love how Grey is willing to put himself out there again and again, knowing that Kerry is worth it and waiting for her to give him a chance. He’s confident, caring and funny – absolutely perfect for falling in love with. But Kerry has her secrets and they are doozies. When they finally come to light, they bring with them a threat that she can only face if she’s willing to let Grey and her friends in. I can see why she thinks that she has to hold so much inside but the support she receives once everything is revealed is just what she needs.
Full of humor and adventure and sexiness galore, Rose once again delivers a winner. And I can’t wait until we get the next book to see what she brings our favorite police officer, Jeremy.

I love a good sports romance – there is just something about a big, strong man falling in love that just gets me every time. And Kenyhercz delivers a fantastic hero with Carter. There is just something sexy about a man who is comfortable enough to know how he feels and own up to it. Carter quickly realizes what he feels and is willing to take that chance on it turning into something special.
In a bit of a change, it’s actually Jacey who has a problem with the relationship. She feels it too but she’s been burned recently. Add in the stress of her new job and she’s not quite as brave as he his. It’s not totally new for the heroine to have issues with commitment but it doesn’t happen as often as the other way around. With their working relationship and Jacey’s trust issues, the romance isn’t going to be smooth.

Together Nicole and Tony make a great pair, sassy and fun, although thanks to that disastrous marriage Nicole definitely has a hard time letting Tony all the way end. But he handles it very well
Y’all need to take that warning seriously though because Tony definitely knows what he’s doing …. and McLain isn’t afraid to let him do it. I know that some people prefer a more PG story but if you are good with steamy scenes and coarse language, then I definitely recommend picking up Can’t Get Enough as soon as possible. The romance itself is heartwarming and the characters are really loveable, you just have to be prepared to get a little hot under the collar :)

While I enjoyed Ashes to Sparks, I think that some people may find portions of it very hard to take. There are some emotional and physical moments that are … well, difficult. But if you can find your way past those the story is actually very good.
Ryan has a very difficult ex-wife, who not only made their marriage a mess but who is making trouble with his relationship with his daughter. It’s not made him all that open to love but his attraction to Lindsay is hard to resist. And it is a good thing that teaching little kids has given Lindsay a lot of patience because she’s going to need it dealing with Ryan’s issues. But when Ryan’s ex causes difficulties that no one parent should ever have to face, will her love and understanding be enough?
With emotional highs and lows, heartache and despair, love and warmth, Ashes to Sparks is an emotional rollercoaster. But one worth the ride.

I love the relationship that develops between Grace and Troy. Though they start as friendly acquaintances, they quickly and easily move into something more. Once again Carr captures the fluidity of real life, the ease of deepening feelings as time goes by. But unlike the average person, Grace is keeping a pretty big secret – one that will have an impact on her relationship with Troy. Captured beautifully, the way they figure out whether they can move on together is very touching and makes for a true Carr ending.
Emotional, full of warmth and heartbreak, offset with humor and fun, One Wish highlights why Thunder Point is one of my favorite places to visit.

I love, love, LOVE Jane. With Xavier though she is a hoot. She pokes at him just enough to get him riled; it’s so much fun seeing her try to seduce him. And the glimpses we get into her character are priceless. The surprises she leaves him when she goes home are just the perfect capsulation of what kind of person she is – subtle humor, but with a playful streak. She’s smart, sassy, and sadly overlooked.
Xavier came back from war with a lot of baggage, but a few days alone with Jane means that his darkest secrets and desires will be brought into the open. As appealing as she is to readers, she’s even more so to him and closes quarters make her very hard to resist … but it sure is a blast to see him try :)
Full of humor and heart, a devil cat and whimsical woodland creatures, a heroine looking to sin and a hero determined to honorably resist, The Captain’s Bluestocking Mistress is a historical romance that can’t be beat. It is fantastically written, with great flow and addictive characters. The story just flew by and I absolutely could not put it down until I was done.

I loved how readers are given a delightful mix of stories, all centered around men in uniform. Military, law enforcement, emergency personnel – you name it, I’m sure you can find a story that will meet your particular fetish. Plus, since they are delivered from some of Evernight’s best, readers also get a nice mix of storylines – BDSM, suspense, contemporary. Each one isn’t very long, but coming from Evernight it is a sensual treat. And if M/M is your thing, they have a version to meet your needs as well.
Since it is an anthology, none of the stories are very long and give up a little in character & plot development, but the authors are great at their jobs so they still give you enough detail that you feel connected to the characters and their adventure. And being an Evernight book, I guarantee they are steamy enough to get you hot under the collar.
Perfect for those days when you just need (or only have time) for a little break, the Uniform Fetish books will leave you very satisfied.

I will say it isn’t a very tight story – by that I mean I had questions that didn’t get answered – but it was a fun and entertaining story … and most of the time, isn’t that what you want anyway? Something that makes you smile or giggle or sigh or fall in love with the characters? Well, this one definitely made me giggle and keep turning pages to get to the end to find out what happens to everyone. You have to have to be OK with zombies because a decent number of people in it, including the hero, eat human flesh but that’s what you’d expect with a story titled Zombies in Love.
Poking a little fun at the politics behind academia, plus a little bit of humor at today’s zombie loving culture and realizing you need to grow up, even in the face of your undeath, Zombies in Love makes for a totally amusing diversion.
