This might be my new fave EmHen book!

I devoured this book, I loved the plot and the main characters it was so fun

You could tell early on that Miles had it bad for Daphne which I loved. I love that even tho its singular pov that his love/caring for her came across really strongly

The only way to make this better imo is having a chapter, post epilogue, from Miles pov with little snippets of scenes from the book with what he was thinking about Daphne cos I know he had it so bad early on and I just want to experience that

- ex fiancés, new fiancées, ex boyfriend
- force proximity / roommates
- fake dating

Already looking forward to rereading sometime soon

Also for the most part I read the physical book whilst listening to the audiobook and it just made it so fun and go so much quicker - Julia Whelan did such a good job with the narration (as always)

A joyous slutty bisexual European summer filled with food, wine, culture and sex

This was such a great read! I had the best time reading this book and didn't want to put it down

I love that each new city got its own chapter (it didn't feel rushed or drawn out) and I loved the little illustrations in the chapter header and pairings that went with each city

I really enjoyed that the first half of the book was from Theo's pov and the second half was from Kit's. I liked that you got both povs with all the feelings of hurt/angst/longing/love but it wasn't constantly flip floping between the two

I loved both the main characters and also the side characters, the whole tour group was so fun

- second chance romance
- forced proximity
- road trip
- bisexual and non binary main characters

Thank you to Pan Macmillan and NetGalley for the arc - all opinions are my own

I had a great time listening to this!

If I was to describe this book in one word it would be 'horny'

I really loved both main characters and how opposite they appeared at first and how different they were. I loved that they both brought each other out of their shells and we're doing things they were uncomfortable with just because they loved the other person

I really liked the inclusion of social media posts and news articles at the end of each chapter from other people talking about their relationship, it was so fun and unique

I wish we saw more of them together post 3rd act break up

I enjoyed the narration for the most part, however I did struggle at times to work out who was talking (just by the sound of the narrators voice) or if parts were being spoken or they were just thoughts

- fake dating
- famous ex footballer X ghost writer
- British main characters

Thank you to Pan Macmillan and NetGalley for the ALC - all opinions are my own

I really wanted to love this book, however I couldnt get into it

I love books where characters first meet through email/text/phone calls etc and you can slowly see the attraction and them falling in love

My main issue with this book is that Amy spends a lot of the time lying to Cameron about what her job is, although she felt bad about it, she wasnt doing anything to change it and it just got annoying to me. Also this is a very slow burn, i got just over 50% before i dnfed and theres been zero talk of attraction to each other or any real flirting or anything to get me infested in their relationship, slow burns really arent my thing and this just wasnt doing it for me

- she accidentally gets sent an email meant for him, so she tracks him down and forwards it onto him and they start a friendship
- 1st person, single pov

Thank you to NetGalley and One More Chapter for the arc - all opinions are my own

I just wasn't vibing with the narrators, was interested in the returning rings to their owners storyline and will probably continue at some point in a different format

I loved this book! I had a great time reading it and I loved all the characters

The start imo is a bit slow - I'm just not a fan of the main characters just not interacting at all and just wanted them to interact in some way, even if they dislike each other

I really enjoyed how the main characters supported each other and how they were better together

I was screaming over the way that Luis came out to Gene it was so good

I really like when book include a little something different and unique, at the end I love the inclusion of; team list and walk out songs; Luis' running playlist with a note from him and Gene about it; and Gene's bagel recipe with again a note from him and Luis about it and other comments from him throughout - it just makes it so much more fun

- queer (trans - ftm and gay main characters, also lesbian side characters)
- sports romance - baseball

This was a great listen and I really enjoyed it!

I love that the advice all came with personal examples which just made it more interesting and engaging
