I really enjoyed this book, it took me a little while to get into it and at one point I wasn't sure if I wanted to continue (i think mainly from previously not 100% vibing with previous books in this series) but I'm glad I stuck with it cos it was so cute!!
A negative that has continued throughout this series is that I think there are too many side characters and they kinda just all merge into one at times
I thought the relationship between the main characters was so cute and I love how they were always in each others corners and supported each other
- college romance
- sports romance (college hockey)
- inexperienced fmc

I really enjoyed this book and loved the narrators
Set around the holidays (Hanukkah), MMC who bakes a lot, forced proximity (snowed in) and theyre writers (kinda?) what isnt to love about it???

what i listened to i enjoyed but im not in the mood for a fantasy atm - will probs pick up at another time
I enjoyed this, I loved the narrators and thought they did a great job
I love the dual timeline element and getting to see the changes that this new timeline makes and how the fmc learns from them and tries to help everyone make better decisions that she knows they wont come to regret
The plot twist in the final couple of chapters was so good and unexpected - it was so good!!
- dual timeline
- second chance romance
- dual pov, 1st person

Theres a good balance between plot and spice in this story (sometimes I feel with short stories sometimes there can be too much of one and not the other)
I feel like were very much thrown into the middle of the story and i wanted a bit more backstory at the start but once we got more into the story i did start to enjoy it and like the short journey we went on with them
- friends to lovers
- MFM
- 3rd person pov

This was such a great read!
If youre looking for a second chance, forced proximity (with only one bed) short Christmas read this is the book for you
I love that both of them are writers and start the book in a slump and them reconnecting gets them out of the slump, it was so cute
The angst and tension that the forced proximity, only one bed, having to be civil in front of their colleagues and having to work together was so good and made me fall in love with these characters
- second chance
- both romance writers
- forced proximity - snowed in a hotel together
- only one bed
- christmas romance
Thank you to Headline Eternal and NetGalley for the eARC - all opinions are my own

- small town

I really enjoyed this book, I love a good friend's to lovers romance
I'm really enjoying this series, with the family and small town - it's a joy to read
I feel like we didn't get as much of the underlying mystery around the father's death in this book as much as the previous ones, I'm looking forward to the next book to wrap it up and discover all the secrets
The grand gesture in this was so cute and adorable
- friends to lovers
- small town

Just not vibing with it, will probs come back to it at some point (maybe)
I loved this book!!
(this book has been on my kindle for just over 2 years now and I'm kinda annoyed that I didn't read it sooner but also I know the right book will find you at the right time so I won't complain about it and just enjoy this wonderful Christmas book instead)
This is one of those books where the more you read the better it gets (and it was already good to start with)
I love a dual timeline where you get to see glimpses of their past relationship and it was so fun to see them first meet and become friends
I loved the adventure that we went on (although I'm not sure I'd like to do it myself) and how you could tell how much they meant to each other through all their actions before they even spoke about it
- trying to get home for Christmas when there's flight cancellations
- they've been friends for 10 years after sitting together on a flight home 10 years ago
- dual timeline
- friends to lovers
- single pov
