I love that this story is mainly told through dialogue, it works great on audio

Even tho this is set in a day it didnt feel like their feelings were rushed and the overall pacing was great

- forced proximity
- strangers to dating
- roadtrip
- set over one day
- full cast narration

One Summer in Miami

DID NOT FINISH: 35%

Not vibing with this, life's too short and my tbr is too long to read books I'm not vibing with

I loved this book! There was something so warm and comforting about it whilst also being raw and a little messy at times

- accidentally pregnancy
- best friends brother / friends to lovers (not his baby)
- first person, single pov

I love Cara's writing and instantly downloading more of her books

I loved this!! The last 3rd or so was so cute and full of queer joy!

The awkwardness of first crushes and navigating your sexuality in this was so relatable

I loved the dual timeline and seeing Libby and Dan's relationship before the accident, there were some plot twists that I didn't see coming but loved!!

I love the end friendship group in this and how supportive they were and genuinely friends and were truly sorry for how they treated Libby throughout the book

- YA romance
- LGBT romance, with bisexual and lesbian main characters and other LGBT side characters
- friends to lovers
- dual timeline
- multi pov, 1st person

Thank you to the publisher for the arc - all opinions are my own

I loved the plot, the mix of wedding related bits and all of Mads' dates. I truly had no clue who Mads was going to end up with in the end which kept it fun and exciting

- YA romance
- FMC navigating first dates and kisses

Thank you to Tantor Audio for the ALC - all opinions are my own

5 stars, no notes!! This was so good!!

I love that we were there every step of the way with Riley's recovery and I love how supportive Lexi was and understanding and didn't treat him any different

I love watching the friendship grow between the MCs and how they had such a strong base for their relationship

The meaning of Riley's tattoo, I was screaming

This is possibly my fave in this series so far, i love this whole series and all the characters. The found family with the hockey players and girlfriends is so good

- hockey player x trainer
- injury rehabilitation
- hes been crushing on her for years
- friends to lets just get this out our system to friends with benefits to lovers

I liked the narrators and enjoyed the overall storyline.

I went into this blind (as I do with most books if I've previously read the author) and the wife at the start confused me, I was like 'wait...is this not MM???' so that'll teach me to read the blurb first lol.

Anyway I really enjoyed the whole bi-awkwening through spicy video creation and enjoyed Vaughan growing in confidence throughout.

The 3rd act plot line with the unhinged ex-wife and the stalker was a twist I didn't see coming but was enjoyable and a nice break from the spice.

Tropes:
- age gap - 10 years
- MM romance with bi-awkwening
- onlyfans creators

This was a great novella

I'll be honest I cannot remember a single thing about the OG series apart from I had a great time reading them and this was the exact same - I had a great time

I love love love a book with sneaking around / secret relationship and this was so good!

I loved how much Archie was thriving being with Dash and the 3rd act conflict hurt a little but I'm so glad that it all worked out

- college romance
- MM romance - both gay (one closeted)

This was so cute!! I love how bad Hayden had it for Madeline and Lucy!!

- sports romance - pro hockey
- forced proximity
- single mum

I love how their relationship slowly shifted from strangers to friends to lovers, and the whole time you could see how much they meant to each other and supported and looked after each other

I love that he learnt ASL to be able to communicate with her daughter - definition of ‘if he wanted to, he would’

I loved this book! I loved the main characters and the journey we went on with them - the whole what's expected of them on the show and wider public eye vs what their hearts are telling them to do journey was fun to explore. The stolen moments between the main characters, they were so cute

Tropes:
- love island type reality tv show setting
- MM romance
- found family
- forced proximity
- 3rd person, dual pov, single narrator

I loved the other main contestants on the show, the friendship between everyone was so nice and gave great found family vibes - I also loved seeing their journeys on the show too

I loved seeing some of the games that they played on the show - i wish we got more of them

I loved that we got a couple of chapters with the characters post show and got to see what relationships stuck and what new ones were formed

I really liked the narrator, they did a great job with a mix of different accents and I forgot at times that it was only one person doing it! I'll be checking out more by them

This is a great debut novel and I'm looking forward to reading more from the author

This is a great summer read and i highly recommend it
