Really excellent novella! A future duke on the cusp of middle-age is engaged (transactionally) to a boring woman half his age but then his age-appropriate BFF proposes sex lessons before he ties the knot, reawakening his long-repressed attraction to her. Emotional, sweet, hot and beautifully written.

Context: I tend to be very skeptical about viral / internet famous books. But, I decided to give Lyla Sage a go, and I’m glad I did. It wasn’t life-changing, but it went down super easy. Wes is an absolute cinnamon roll but held my interest just enough, and Ada was an excellent prickly FMC. I skipped the first book because I haaaate brother’s best friend as a trope/source of conflict, but I might read the others in the series if I feel in the mood for a light, easy, romantic read.
