Ahhhhhhhhh. I can't even. This book was brilliant and Nicky was so adorable, he must be protected at all costs. I love how oblivious he is to everything around him. 

This was fantastic. I loved the characters, especially Adam. His family dynamics added alot of tension and frustration to the book, and his and Roberts relationship as brothers reminds me of my own relationship with mine. The worldbuilding was amazing - so unique and well thought out - every chapter adding yet another layer to the Other Side and leaving so many questions. I really enjoyed the idea of the Watchtowers too, and I can't wait to see where Adams story goes. The writing style was easy to follow and flowed so easily. I can't really fault this book. 

Everyone kept telling me to read this because it was amazing and I finally got round to it. It was amazing. I could not put it down (only to sleep.) I loved the characters, the story, the setting - I love a good political fantasy. Something I loved about this book was that while women didn't have as much rights as men, (that's not the bit I loved) people didn't bat an eye at same sex couples. Also I loved that Alessandra changed so much in society just by what she wore and how she held herself and started a wave that had more women breaking out of their shells. Highly reccomend. 

In the beginning, I wasn't sure how i felt. There was too many pop culture references for my liking, I kept thinking "why though," - BUT then I realised that's exactly how a teens inner monologue would be. Hell, I'm still kind of like that and I'm 28. It was a pretty emotional, inspiring book and it gets 4 stars from me. I loved the characters, especially Kallie. Aiden and Ty were so cute and i loved that they were massive nerds. The group of friends surrounding them were so supportive. The only thing I wish was that Ty had some kind of breakthrough with his dad and AIDEN confronted Christian, and we got a bit more details on Braydens death - although it kind of worked even without details. And a bit more about the conversion therapy camp cause I do feel that kind of fizzled out and it had to be a traumatizing experience, but that relates back to me wanting a confrontation with Tys dad because I would have gone absolutly mental. Great read though I really enjoyed it.

Great book. Full of magic and adventure. The story is becoming more fleshed out, with a host of new characters to mix in with the old. I enjoy the multiple povs, they really help to break up this epic tale. 4.5. Stars
