I would die for these kids. Billy and Teddy are everything! This edition really embodies the whole concept of teenage superheroes through and through. It's fast paced with some nice nods to pop culture and cleaver meta weaved through the panels of gorgeous artwork- all coming together to tell a flawless story.

I don't normally enjoy audio but this was insane. I loved every minute of it. The performances were fantastic and the story consumed me. It flowed so easily, even when it jumped around a bit it was still easy to follow. I can't wait for act 2!

This series continues to suprise me. even when I think i know what's going on, I don't, and at the same time what you expect to happen, does, but it comes completely out of left field, shocking and surprising you anyway. 
Highly addictive and incredible. 

It's unreal how much chaos one person attracts, but Harley continues on her journey from the Clown Queen of Gotham, to an independent, anti hero who you can't help but love when when you know what she's doing is bonkers.
I'm also kind of rooting for Red tool to get the girl even though I'm living for whatever Harley and Ivy have going on. 

It's so interesting following Harley on her journey after Sucicide Squad. She continues to be chaotic and grow but now she is firmly an anti hero who doesn't have to answer to Waller or is obsessed with the Joker. She is her own person who shows an emotional side, and how smart she actually is - something I think people fail to remember with Harley. 

Overall this was a great read - although I did feel there were inconsistencies in the narrative and large parts of the conversations dragged on for the sake of dragging on. It was very dramatic which I loved though- and as it is something I didn't think I would enjoy at all I feel proud of myself for completing it and actually enjoying myself 

This was a perfect ending to an amazing trilogy. It was everything i wanted and more. I cried, and i laughed, and I wanted to throw the book out the window at points. 

It flowed really easily and blended in nicely with the other two books - picking up a few days after the events of blood and honey. 

It was a bittersweet read as it was the last book, and I was in tears by the end of it. Hopefully we see more of the gang in the future. 

I loved the concept of this book, and it was a great read overall. The writing style gave the story and easy flow, and the setting of Shanghai was beautiful. 

I did like the main characters of Juliette and Roma alot but part of me feels like I never fully connected to them, and I found myself wishing we got more from Kathleen, Mars and Ben. 

The plot was interesting - I'm a sucker for Mob stories and I enjoyed the politics played within the gangs, but I will say some points I did see coming - especially the ending bit with Mars. 

But i still thoroughly enjoyed it and i  cannot wait for the sequel. I'm hoping that I'll feel more connected to Roma and Juliette, and everything works out for them. Somehow.


CONTENT WARNING - Bugs.There is graphic descriptions of creepy crawlies and lice like bugs throughout the whole novel of bugs that burrow into people's head and cause a madness that makes them rip their throat out.
