HELL YES HAWKEYE GETS HIS OWN COMIC BOOK. Oh my God, this made me scream-laugh, it's so weird and funny and clever. But also: compelling intrigue! Emotions! Nice color scheme! Pizza dog!

Oh wow, I didn't really know what this was about when I grabbed it? I knew it had some good buzz & also the audiobook was approximately the same length as the trip I was taking, so I took it. Like if I had realized it was about angels and chimera and shit I probably wouldn't have taken it? But it would have been my loss because this was really great. And the audiobook was exceptional--really good accents and monster voices.

OH GOD. I feel like... relieved to be done with this trilogy. Like, it's super compelling and really well done psychological sci-fi horror dystopia stuff but sooo dark and heavy. I should have taken breaks in between them but also I just wanted to knowwww what would happennnn.

Overall I enjoyed this. I really loved Spider-Man in this. I think I need to read more Spider-Man books because I keep loving him when he pops up in other books I read. But maybe I like him because he keeps being like, a sassy troll to whoever the main superhero is. MORE RESEARCH REQUIRED W/R/T SPIDER-MAN.

Oh and I also enjoyed Tony playing chess with Reed Richards. Huzzah.

Oh man, so perfect and hilarious and sweet! This was kind of what I wanted Seth Rudetsky's YA novel to be, but Seth Rudetsky's YA novel was nothing like this. Like, clearly written by a ~Broadway insider~ who totally nails the perspective of a clueless, theater-obsessed, exploring-his-sexuality kid from a shitty little town.

Totally hilarious and relatable. Even to kids reading this who might not get that Nate is hilariously clueless will enjoy this and empathize with him, and it's just... really sweet. I'm definitely excited that a sequel is coming out.

This is like a gentler, kinder version of [b:Dramarama|437590|Dramarama|E. Lockhart|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1348800443s/437590.jpg|3085471] and I love them both, but I'd give this to tweens & teens who might not be ready for the REALNESS of Dramarama.

Umm other than that, this is cute? Good to see some diversity up in there, he's got an Asian friend even!! I'm glad they found a plausible-ish way to like, completely re-do Spidey's origin story with another dude. And that Spider-Woman is a badass. And Nick Fury exists. So, yeah! I'll read the next volume of this! Apparently this run starts to get weird after awhile, according to the internet anyway, but it's a good start, spider-friends.
