I was really looking forward to this book and had much higher expectations. This story was very bland for me.

The main character is pretty dry, none of the side characters are of any interest, and the story was incredibly slow moving. On top of that, it is a standalone novel, and really needed more expansion. The novel either needed to be longer or be a series.

This was simply fantastic!!! So cute, adorable, and also makes you think about conservation.

This book had me hooked the whole time. Can't wait to read the next one and more by this author.

4.25 stars. This book was beautiful, I just didn't particularly like the beginning. But about halfway through I fell into the story completely, and then the end broke my heart. I wish there was more, but Victoria did an incredible job wrapping this story up in two books, and I am thoroughly satisfied with this.

First time read for me. It's Harry Potter! Need I say more?
