I knew this book was going to break my heart, I just didn't know it was going to piece it back together so well. Sometimes I need a sappy, ridiculous love story. But this was so much more. I regret not reading this sooner, but it also feels like I read it right when I needed to.

I'm teetering on 4.5 but not sure. I pretty much knew nothing about this, but wound up loving it. Unique races of characters, and down to earth characters. Onto the next!!!

I wasn't super impressed by this unfortunately. I think I had higher expectations based on the description. I won't be in a rush if I continue on with the series.

Wow, this book was better than I expected. I loved the concept of it in the first place, but I didn't expect it to be more than 3 stars for me. This was absolutely fantastic. It had such a beautiful family element to it. And I loved the magic in it honestly. It is slightly predictable, but I found myself wanting so much more. I wish we could get more on this world. This was pretty solid for a debut novel as well. I am throughly looking forward to anything else from this author, especially if it's a fairy tale retelling.

Interesting concept. Girl is a wolf so obviously that's awesome. It'll be interesting to see where this goes.

This book was frustrating and didn't even come close to meeting my expectations. This was disappointing because the characters just did not grab me at all. I wanted to love this book and I wanted to love the characters but I find the story was mediocre at best. There was something that drove me to want to finish the book to find out what happened at the end. Otherwise I probably would have dnf'd this. Unfortunately I found myself skimming through pages to get the main gist of the story after about halfway through the book. This was the only way I was going to finish it because it was dragging on for me. I guess this book just wasn't for me, I truly hope other people enjoy the writing style.

I wasn't sure if I was going to like this since the main character looks so young. But honestly, it poked fun at that quite a bit. I really enjoyed this and will be happy to pick up the second one.

Entertaining for cat lovers

This was cute and lighthearted. A definite quick read for any cat lover, and some of the poems weren't half bad.

I'm on the fence whether this is a 3 or 3.5 star read for me. The first 50 pages were bland, then it was really good until part 2. And up until the last 30 pages, it was very bland and boring for me. The ending didn't do much for me either. I will be holding off on the companion novel for quite a while.

Wow, I really wasn't expecting anything out of this book. But I freaking loved it! I had a really hard time putting this down. I will definitely continue the series.
