It was an ok book. I wasn't expecting the twist, but I also thought it was kind of stupid.

Freida McFadden is a genius

Rare instance where I change my rating. It's a 3.5 star for me after just finishing ACOWAR.

4.5 stars!! I honestly wasn't expecting much from this since it was a novella and short. But SJM still managed to make me feel all the feels and then some. I came so close to crying the last page. Instead, I read the sneak peek at the next book. I can't wait!!!

Oh...my...goodness!!!! This book was phenomenal. While I agree that ACOMAF was an incredible book, ACOWAR doesn't fall far behind in my opinion. I loved learning more about the high lords, loved the relationship building, and all the small political elements. This book made me cry FOUR TIMES! FOUR!!! And I don't just cry that easy. The focus of friends and family in this just filled my heart with so many emotions. I can't wait to see where the other books go. This trilogy was amazing!
