This was a cute light-hearted YA romance. I think I mentally overhyped this book in my head so it fell a little flat for me. I wound up enjoying the characters more towards the end of the book, but also found them to be quite annoying at times as well. There was some maturing for the characters and good development for them as the book progressed though. I recommend this book if you want a cute quick read.

I really hated Carrie Soto as a character in the first half, so much so that I almost DNF'd the book. The 2nd half started to show a lot of character development though and it really made this read well worth it. I wound up invested in the story and the characters towards the end.
