Wow... I loved this book so much. It was funny, and of course throw some fantasy in and I'm hooked!!

These authors together are such a charm. I hope they continue to write together for a long while. Very excited for the next book.

While this book was very well written, it was also very slow. I found myself having to drag myself along at times. It definitely feels like a debut first novel in a series. With that being said, I am still rating it 4 stars because it was still incredibly written. It will probably be a while before I continue on, but I definitely do plan on finishing the trilogy and look forward to where the series goes. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves folklore, and especially folklore set in different countries.

4.5 stars. Such a light-hearted and wonderful read. If you are a fan of Crazy Rich Asians, you will love this!
