The perfect cheesy holiday love story! I haven’t read any other books from this series, but now I might have to!

I love Alice Hoffman! In Local Girls, she does an amazing job sharing the story of two best friends throughout their childhood, adolescence and adulthood. A wonderful read!

I had really high expectations for this book because I read The Girl on the Train in one day...so I think my review of 4 stars instead of 5 is related to those expectations. This book started slow, however, it picked up in the middle. The characters were well developed and I enjoyed the varying narrations. Overall, I would recommend reading this novel!
