I love this series so much! These books always make me long to fly to Portland and wish that I could taste Ground Rules coffee (and other fun sounding drinks!) I love Sage and how she can come across as "all business" because she is so passionate and determined, but also has a fun playful side when with her friends and family. She always gets to attend the best festivals with her camper and this one was no exception. I really want to go to a live music festival again thanks to this description (though without the tragedies please). I am patting myself on the back because I picked up on a potential clue super early on (yay me), but there were plenty of suspects and self doubt.  I love all the people Sage chooses to surround herself with and how much fun they all have together. The wedding was of course fabulous and I cannot wait for more!

This was another delightful, stressful, cozy mystery. Stressful because there were a bunch of different family and relationship dynamics in play that caused a lot of tension for the characters.  I am always impressed by Mia's pose when sticky situations come up and she handled quite a few with more patience than I would have been able to.  The mystery was interesting and unique because you kind of know what's going on, but there are enough twists and turns to keep you guessing. I love how the magic came into play and the look into more of the coven traditions and politics. I also really hope Mia gets some business goals accomplished soon because she is constantly working her butt off. I loved the ending and it made me SO excited for the next one!

Note: I listened to the audiobook and really enjoyed it!

I LOVED this. I love the Brewer family and of course have been fascinated by Gannon.  He is kind of an enigma, but someone that the brothers are always warning about. Wellll I can see why. Damn.  I love how determined and daring Carys is. Their interactions and banter were TOP NOTCH. I could not get enough of them. And the spice was *chefskiss*. The who hurt you - bad fathers edition was so well done and made my blood boil but LOVED how they dealt with it. Seriously I was in such a mood for a billionaire romance and this really hit the spot. I sped through it and the ending made me serious tear up. I miss this couple already!

Note: I listened to the audiobook and I looooved it. Highly recommend listened to this.

Anywhere You Go

DID NOT FINISH: 60%

I really hate to do this, but I'm DNF at 60% because I am just bored (sorrry).  There are a few things that drew me out of the story and had me making a confused face.  I also just am not at all invested in these characters. I do LOVE Carson and honestly they were probably the only character that kept me reading so far. FOR ME (mostly with Tatum) there was too much internal dialogue, too many effervescent thoughts and longing, but NO CHEMISTRY. Also it DROVE ME NUTS how many times she mentioned her "break up" with June... but as far as I could tell June just asked her out and she said no? That's not a break up and honestly don't people turn other down for a date all the time? This just felt a little too weak for all the massssiiivvvee longing and introspection.  I totally get and appreciate the family trauma coloring her dating ideas, but I dunno this just felt too light of a reason.  Also there was NO BANTER with this couple and I need it (honestly I don't get this couple at all TBH).

I really wanted to like Eleanor, but I'm sorry she invited people to stay in her apartment that SMELLS LIKE MOLDY TRASH LIKE WTF. I'm sorry, but like that is too strange to me and I could not take her seductress arc when I knew she was living like that. The best characters were Carson and the old lady neighbor, but not enough to keep me going through this sloooow book.

I won't rate it since I didn't finish, but it feels like 3 stars. Not amazing, but if you're looking for something with a slow burn with some great characters.

This book was wild.  I wasn't sure where the story was going to go after the last book and the imagination of this author and her world is superb.  My heart was broken to see Vanya and Emeric had one their separate ways, but I LOVED the concept of the Pfennigeist.  It honestly felt so right and who Vanya was meant to be. I so enjoyed the premise of someone impersonating her and bringing her back into drama, danger and intrigue. This book is HEAVY on the political intrigue and court politics, so if you like that storyline then you will love this book (along with murder, magic, and romantic angst of course). Though I had an idea about the culprit I could not predict everything that was happening and all the mind-spinning secrets and action that occured.  An epic conclusion to this series!

Ooooh I loved this book so much. This is my comfort cozy series and this book just gave me all the warm and fuzzies. I am so excited for Robbie and honestly am so impressed by her strength and fortitude because I was exhausted just following her. I love all the honesty that she conveyed and how much love she had for her found family. Every character in this book had big growth steps in this one, which is why I keep coming back to series like these. I enjoyed (and so appreciated) seeing Robbie sleuth with her friends.  The answers and result just seemed perfect somehow for the tone of this book and I love all twists along the way. Honestly, Robbie is such an open-minded caring person! The next book is going to be quite different (hopefully there is one!) and I cannot wait to see how it goes.

This was a WILD ride. I'm not always the biggest cult enthusiast, but these people are completely nutty and I was captivated. I think if I enjoyed reading about cults then it would be a 5 star read, I just cannot take these people seriously and would have fled much sooner. Though, I think the author did a fantastic job setting up the scene and depicting the emotions that I could absolutely feel why each person got swept away. Something about the writing plus the audiobook did make it a powerful immersive experience. I also enjoyed watching the MC who is a total skeptic also start to be swayed. I do think the end was a bit too cat and mouse for me (and in a slightly repetitive way). But overall totally wild and enjoyable.

Note: I listened to the audiobook and it's definitely the way to go.

I loved this book so much. It made me long to go to the movies, the scene was perfectly set and I could almost smell the popcorn.
I instantly connected with Rochelle and her drive that never gives her a day off.  Her focus was admirable and it equal parts made me proud and broke my heart the reason that she was so determined about her future goals. I loved her relationship with her mom (who always had me laughing) and her friendships were absolute goals. I love how they all were confident in their identities, but also dealt with teenage anxieties. When Amira was introduced I also instantly loved her and could completely understand how she and Rochelle clashed. I knew we were going to be in for an amazing soft-enemies (more like opponents) to lovers situations. It was so much fun to see Rochelle grow and how she and Amira were drawn together.  This whole cast of characters was fabulous and I really loved them all. I had SO much fun reading this book, through the ups and downs and drama and the romance made me smile all along the way.

A fabulous YA romance story!

I loved this book! More autistic and neurodivergent cozy sleuths PLEASE! Bird was such a fun character who I instantly connected with. I love her passion for cheese and all the research done for this story. I also love cheese and this book made me so hungry. The mystery was so intriguing. I never knew who to suspect and there were lots of great characters and twists and turns. The ending was SO good and I can’t wait to read more (hopefully) in this series!

Note: I listened to the audiobook and it was so well done!

This is my favorite romance author for a REASON. I loved this book so much. The juxtaposition of the two characters who seem so different, but are willing to jump in and give the friendship and then romance a try. I love their banter, their longing and their romance. The way they help each other throughout through their insecurities and hurts. I also appreciated the look into the female friendship here and how one can so easily go sour from miscommunication. I loved both Taylor and Avery and had so much fun reading both of their POVs. Also thank goodness for no 3rd act break up!! I enjoyed being back at Noble and reading this romance!

Note: I listened to the audiobook and loved it.
