Unreal! I loved this book so much.  This book had so many aspects to love. From the amazing characters, the easy to follow and unique magic structure, the warrior training troupe but done in the best and intriguing way, a spark of romance, and surprising and creative magical creatures.  The writing was beautiful and swept me away instantly.  There are so many things that this book examined, but without spoilers, I just love the character development and all the twists. I love the women taking back their strength and their identities. I love the men who are not afraid of stronger women. I loved the ending and the secrets and I cannot wait for more!

Note: You MUST try to the audiobook! It's so fantastic.

Well this was quite fun! As an energetic, ambitious, but a bit over the top and clumsy person - I completely related to Miriam! I also relate on so many levels to feeling like you have to prove yourself just because some asshat is trying to discredit you, or because of your gender. She is flawed and makes mistakes, but she is also fierce and smart and funny. I love an adventure story and this one plus the romance was easy to fly through! The twists were gasp worthy, the danger and escapes, and the ending had me perfectly content.

Although this was the 2nd in the series, it can easily be read as a standalone (though I will say it made me realllly want to go back and read the first one).

Note: I listened to the audiobook and the dual narration was fab!

This book made me feel so many things. Some people should not be parents. Don't treat your kids like things that need to be perfect. Ask kids what they want/need and LISTEN TO THEM. Oh and the portrayal of people adopting children form other countries, bringing them back and trying to remove all their history and culture and everything - just despicable and heartbreaking!
Oh Nadya you sweet girl, I wanted to hug her the entire time and it filled me with so much joy when she found her door. I also love the water and so I related so much to her love of that and the turtles! Her world was truly amazing. Thank goodness this book comes later in the series so I know what else happens to her (from previous books) because I am so invested in her future!

Note: As always, I read this via audiobook and the narration was fabulous.

Wow I LOVED this book. Even more crazy and interesting than the summary suggests. The characters are amazing, the sci-fi premise and the TWISTS - amazing. And there are a lot of action, chase and evade type scenes to keep your heart pumping. I never wanted to put this book down and will be thinking about it for a long time.

Note; this is book 2 in the series, which I did not realize, but I had no trouble jumping in (tho now I really want to go back and read book 1).

Oh this book! It has my heart and made it squeeze so many times. I really love Antsy and knowing her back story, I was even prouder of her for everything she did and fought for in this book. It was great to be back with the children and seeing all their quirks and hearing about their doors. It always makes me sad when people leave the school, but also happy when they are ready to go home. And fluffy dinosaurs are you kidding me?!

I cannot wait for meow.

Note; As always, I loved this audiobook so much!

I am so happy to be back in this series with these characters. I love them all so much for all their quirks and flaws and all the laughs. They really don't take themselves too seriously, which is just so refreshing to hear, even when they get into trouble.  I love how some of the situations can seem so ridiculous, but the author shows how easily someone can get into these silly situations just by making simple choices / mistakes.  I cannot wait to see what happens with Bertie in the next book and seeing him with his Grandma was so sweet; I really love following his mind and seeing the world through his eyes.

Note: I love these audiobooks!

Yes! This book was so much fun. I’m a sucker for a couple that falls in love doing something creative together and the MCs were just so adorable and earnest and down to earth. They are trying their best and had to grow up way too fast. I am picky about my second chance romances but this one was well done because there wasn’t tons of animosity or resentment, more understanding that they were both under immense pressure and not the best at communication. I had so much fun “getting the band back together” and reading about all the different personalities. I wouldn’t be upset if this became a series with the other members’s love lives (cough cough). And the HEA had me sobbing in my car so this was a win!

Audiobook note: I LOVED the dual narration.

This book was hilarious and ridiculous and creative and I loved it! This series gets better and better and I love these characters and Christmastown. I was shocked by all the twists and loved the ending!

This boooook. Wow.  This series is amazing but this book really captured me.  First of all, it gave me rage and sadness and how can a child be gaslit and manipulated so badly by an adult.  And the mother... she made me rage even though she didn't "do" anything, but she clearly did not SEE her child.  I loved the Shop Where the Lost Things Go and all the different worlds and creativity.  Even though this book broke my heart a bit it also made me so happy to be back in this series and spend time getting to know Antsy's past.

Note: I adore these audiobooks!

I love this series and a love potion gone terribly wrong?! Yes please! I love the drama and emotions that swirled with this book. Poor Lucy really cannot catch a break! But I love that she will get into uncomfortable situations just to try and help people in her community; she is such a sweet person. But she isn't a pushover and I love how she won't let herself be used or ignored. And honestly, I am much preffering the alternate romance storyline (please)! I was SHOCKED by the ending and how the heck Lucy figure it all out...I'm still not quite sure. I also really cannot wait for her to step into her power more! I am already excited to read more!

I listened to the audiobook and I loved it!
