There were so many reasons I enjoyed this book! Amy Lynn Green clearly did her research on POW camps in America during WW II in this debut novel and it was beautifully written.

This is the first book I’ve read by Davis and it won’t be my last - I absolutely loved this book!

If you’re looking for a great summer read that has you flipping the page to find out what happens next and falling in love with the characters, this one is it

💕Book Review : Twice Shy ☀️⁣

What an enjoyable, fun, hilarious and heart warming enemies to lovers romance book! 😍⁣

Things I loved:⁣
•Maybell’s character - she is fun, entertaining and so determined⁣
•Wesley’s character - he sounded handsome, a handyman, closed off on the outside but showed his true colors towards the end!⁣
•the setting - I love books set in small towns and this one was no different- so sweet, charming and easy to escape in!⁣

Things I didn’t love:⁣
•The ending! I want to know what happens next but I’m crossing my fingers we get to find out someday 🤞🏻⁣
•It took too long to get to the main point for me but one it did, I was happy about it!⁣

💙Book Review: Love Lettering 📝⁣

I had high expectations for this book because the synopsis sounded amazing and the cover is so cute but unfortunately it fell a bit flat for me! ⁣

The premise of this book is adorable. Calligraphy artist Meg wrote a hidden message in a couples wedding program and they end up never getting married and the groom shows up at Meg’s work to confront her. 💍⁣

I did enjoy the setting (New York City), the fun conversations about calligraphy and wedding stationary but didn’t love the drawn out middle. ⁣

I do own another book by this author and still want to give it a try and see what it’s about!📖⁣

🚢Book Review: Shipped ❤️

I really really liked this book! 🥰

Thank you @netgalley for this book in exchange for my review! I listened to this book and the audiobook was really good!

You’d enjoy this book if you love:
•strong female characters
•enemies to lovers
•co-worker romance
•books set on a cruise ship

I loved Henley and Graham’s characters! Their chemistry, character depth and overall personalities were well written!

I didn’t love Henleys relationship with her sister at first but it grew on me as the story went on.

Wow! This book blew me away! I savored every page and loved the authors humor with such serious topics. I just wish this book was longer. I can't wait to read anything else R. Eric Thomas writes. I read this book with a pen in hand and underlined so many sentences that stood out to me. My heart breaks for those that went through such hard times but I'm thankful R. Eric Thomas wrote about it so I can have a tiny glimpse of what he went through. The epilogue was incredible and I'm so thankful I got this book so I can pass it along to friends and reread it later on in the year.
.
Do not hesitate with this book, it is so so good and worth the time to read and soak in the pages and words of such an authentic person.
