This book is hilarious, lighthearted, heartwarming and so cute! Roxy is underemployed, sexually frustrated, uninspired and overall just needing a change. Bridget Jones’s Diary meets Where’d you go, Bernadette in this novel about a Whole Foods employee who aspires to be an artist and joins forces with her two best friends to make Austin, TX more ‘shop local’ friendly! When Roxy decides to take action, she does whatever she can to stay spunky, avoid arrest, discover her sexual life, find her true love and her perhaps her purpose in life! •

This book was such a great break for me from serious books! Roxy is so funny and I literally laughed out loud at so many parts! I met the author @marypaulinelowry at the #simonschusterselects event and she is so sweet! I loved hearing her heart behind this book, something that people would escape in but also move us towards change and shopping local. Thank you for writing such a fun book Mary Pauline and it was a joy meeting you!

This book was good but not great! I love the enemies to lovers but the Tripps bothered me and reminded me too much of Chipp and Joanna Gains in a bad way. This book was very hyped and I'm glad I read it but now I need to read another Christina Lauren book so I can get a better image in my head.
TW: sexual assault, physical violence •

Wow! This was my first Backman book and it won’t be my last! I love his writing style and I read this book slower to savor the beautiful writing. I buddy read this book with my friend and I’m so glad we read it. We’re even going to read the next book in this series together! What an emotional, powerful and thought provoking book. So many lines that made me stop and ponder the lesson that was being taught. •

WOW! This book took me all of 4 hours to read and I loved every second of it. I love the enemies to lovers and books set in the music industry, they are so fun and keep me interested.

Synopsis:
Meet Kiki, a men’s fashion magazine stylist that just got laid off and is trying to decide what to do next with her life. Her very helpful and supportive brother offers to help her find a new job since she is NOT going to nanny/be here sisters personal assistant. Little does Kiki know, her new job is styling Tate, a huge country star that is nominated for entertainer of the year. Tate always dates superstars like Country Sweetheart Savannah (which he wrote a #1 single with) but until Kiki walks into his life, or should I say ‘Coffee Girl’ stumbles into his life, all that changes.
.
I loved Kiki’s family dynamic! Her relationship with her brother is adorable and he’s so protective of her. Her sister is so crazy and controlling and I couldn’t stop laughing during her scenes with her because of how ridiculous she is. Kiki’s friendship with Sarah, the makeup artist (there is a book coming out about her next..fireworks) is so sweet and I’m so glad they were there for each other. And Tate…he is dreamy and so sweet to Kiki and I loved so much about him (add heart eyes) There is lots of steam in this book btw!
.
Thank you @Netgalley and Sophie Sinclair for this gifted ebook in exchange for my honest review!

First off, this title is SO perfect! I found myself wanting to make scones and drink lattes every time I read it
.
During this crazy time, I find myself enjoying and gravitating towards lighter books. This book is adorable, set in a small town and simple. Of Literature and Lattes would make a great Hallmark movie and the setting was described so well.
.
I didn’t love that this story jumped around quite a bit and I felt like there were one too many stories being told at the same time. I still enjoyed this book and it the characters were very entertaining and relatable.
