📝Book Review: Fighting Words by R.S. Grey 📚☕️

4.5/5 ⭐️

Thank you @rsgrey for this arc in exchange for my review! This book is out today - get it on Amazon!

What a fun rom com by one of my favorite authors set in a small town in England. Summer (FMC) is a newish editor at a big publishing house and she’s asked to go to England to get Nathaniel (MMC) to finish his sci-fi trilogy book. Many have tried to accomplish this and Summer is determined to complete the tasks to show her family that going to school as an English major is her passion rather then being in the medical field like everyone else in her family. Grey writes dual point of view books (which I love!) and makes you feel like you’re at the table as the characters are bickering about who ate the last chocolate bar while the other makes coffee 🥰

You’ll like this book if you love:
•small town setting
•slow burn with amazing banter
•forced proximity
•dual pov
•steam 🔥

I enjoyed their friend group, the charming town of Sedbergh, England (the official book town) and I definitely pictured Nathaniel’s cottage to look like the house in movie The Holiday. The way their relationship unfolds is so beautiful and the banter is so great! Once again, a book of R.S. Greys that I couldn’t put down. 👏🏻👏🏻
