OMG that twist and then a cliffhanger! I want the second book now!!
I loved that this was not another fantasy book where the human savior has been training or is training with weapons. I really love that Lore recognizes that she is not physically strong but asks to be tought ways to defend herself! She is brave and capable in other ways! Honestly, she is so smart! The pure love of books and learning is evident in this story!
This book is a sloooooow burn and a bit of a love triangle!

Thank you to NetGalley, Avon Books, Harper Voyager, and Tessa Bailey for the eARC in exchange for my honest review!
Tessa Bailey did it again! To say I am a fan of Tessa Bailey is an accurate statement!
The Big Shots series as a whole is a delightful time but I loved Dream Girl Drama! I loved Sig and Chloe as side characters in The Au Pair Affair and I'm so glad they got their story!
I enjoyed the mutual insta-love! I guffawed at Chloe's antics! My heart broke along with Sig's and Chloe's! I was invested the entire time and I just wanted them to have their HEA (which I knew they would but I was on the edge of my seat until the very end!)
At the heart of it all, this was pure friendship, yearning, and chemistry!
I do wish there was more Tallulah! I loved Pierre! The baseball field scene is one of my favorites and I'm so excited for Corrigan's book!
Overall, I will be purchasing as a shelf trophy and likely rereading along with the rest of the series!

I sobbed! I giggled! I rooted for Lane and Matt!
This book was everything I needed! Such a perfect example of friends to Lovers and the mess that can be life! Once again, Hannah Bonam-Young made me cry in the most cathartic way! The tears for this book came out of nowhere and hit me hard, much like grief! Which this book explores deftly!
I will be purchasing this book to read over and over again! And I'm inspired by the wedding vows for my own next year!

Wrong Score is the ninth book in The Hawkeyes Hockey Series. It is also the first book I read. It is a standalone but reading the previous books will give you back story to side characters.
Overall, I liked this book! I liked the writing! I read the entire book in one sitting (which is not unusual for me)! Bex Townsend was the perfect grump and Rowan Summers is a spitfire in high heels. The banter and the chemistry between them was delightful!
Based on this book, I'm definitely going to read other Kenna King books!

My heart aches from this book! It is a masterclass in grief, love, destruction, and change! The City In Glass had me questioning my own beliefs on morality...are angels really good and are demons really bad? The complexity of Vitrine and the angel was perfect! The pacing of this book was perfect!
Nghi Vo has a talent for distilling her stories down to its most essential pieces to pull at you and keep you entertained. She is a must read author for me at this point!

I finished this book a few days ago and can't stop thinking about it! This book is your next potato chip read! It was so consumable and I did not want to put it down!
I struggled to narrow down what my rating for this book would be. Based on vibes and pure enjoyment, it's a 4.5 star read. However, there were some plot points, especially towards the end, that felt rushed or maddeningly unnecessary which was resulting in a 3.5 star read. So I averaged them and we've got 4 stars!
Alchera is such a relatable character! I enjoyed that I learned about her world with her! Michelle Heard did a fantastic job of helping me immerse myself into the story! While reading, I felt as Alchera felt! There were times I was lost, confused, frustrated, and comforted as if I were Alchera!
I am unsure of my feelings about Alchera and Raighne's relationship. While I love a possessive/protective book boyfriend, I'm not head over heels for Raighne. I might be a bigger Ares fan!
No spoilers but I am still upset about a plot point 90% of the way through the book! Mostly because I wanted that to be the cliffhanger for this book!
Overall, if you are looking for a fast-paced action and adventure fantasy with found family, a destiny that could make or break the FMC, a possessive/protective MMC, and a plethora of villains, look no further!

Going into this book knowing it's part Reylo fanfiction heavily impacted the experience for me. I struggled to get through the first third of the book due to pacing. I might come back to this book in the future but right now this was not the vibe I wanted to read.
