This book took me quite a while to read. I couldn't seem to get into it. The beginning was good but action was lagging in the middle.
But the idea was brilliant. I absolutely love Hatter. He is just too cool for me to handle. I love Alyss and Dodge and General Doppelganger and Bibwit and the caterpillars and all Redd's evil minions and The Cat is really quite brilliant.
All in all, this book was a nice, pleasant read. The kind I'd rather snuggle up with a hot cup of jo on a rainy day. It didn't keep me on the edge of my seat the whole time, but it wasn't supposed to. Worth the read.

This book was okay. I think the later ones will be better. I like the characters and the world, but the book had a slow pacing. I really had to make myself finish it. But it was good. I'm glad I read it. I loved Rhia.
