Overall, this book provides extremely useful information on the art of rhetoric and how to employ it. It achieves this goal by introducing the main goals of argument and the different rhetorical tools that can be used to help achieve these means. Throughout the book, various examples and analoggies are given to test and prove these tools actually work in real-world scenarios. The author improves his credibility through the use of such examples. Additionally, he provides explanations of what tools are being used or what the literal denotations and connotations are for the rhetorical term names given at the beginning of each chapter or section. This along with a recap at the end of each chapter further improves the reader’s understanding. While proving it’s utility and usefulness, this book can be a bore especially for readers who do not fit the targetted audience in each set of examples. Although it tries to communicate its message to everyone, it just fails to be relatable or relevant in certain examples and some aspects of the book.

Takeaways: Everyone should read this book because the tips provided are extremely helpful and can be used in many different situations. Just be prepared for boring stretches and disjointed/ unstructured passages
