This book started out being a bit average and not one of my favorites in the shadowhunter chronicles. However, as the book pressed on and more information was being revealed about the murders, things got exciting. Overall this is for me a 4 star book. That ending but especially the epilogue left me wanting to read Lord of Shadows right away and definitely raised the rating of this book from a 3.5 to 4 stars.

This book has brought me to literal tears. It is a beautifully poetic ending to the infernal devices trilogy. Although at first I thought it was a little slow, overall I highly recommend it. In particular, I believe that Will, Jem, and Tessa’s storyline are brought to a satisfying conclusion. I will miss reading a story written with the London Institute as the setting and with its beautiful cast of characters. Charlotte, Henry, Sophie, Tessa, Will, and Jem along with the other cast of characters will always hold a special place in my heart.

An Enchantment of Ravens

I usually don’t cry while reading books. But damn did this book get me so emotional. I love how the story showed the grandfather, son, and grandson all growing to accept the grandfather’s illness and death. That ending pulled at all of my heart strings and I think this will be one of the books that change me forever. I felt personally connected with this story having a close bond with my own grandparents. This story just hits close to home and for that it will be even more memorable.
