This book just had too much going on. The many (and I mean MANY) POVs were too confusing and the fact that there were so many sub plots to this book just made it unbearable. Maybe if the storylines connected and there was an actual climax with a positive outlook I would be thrilled to have read this. I did enjoy the tragic ending of many of the villainous characters lives though so brownie points for that. Overall, too much and not enough actual storyline to keep me entertained.

I’m thoroughly shocked people thought this book was awful because this book is amazing. Maybe they just like living in the dark and not knowing whatever happened after Handmaids Tale, but nah I like to know everything. And this novel took a deep dive into Gilead and it’s eventual downfall.
