I loved how the whole time I was putting the story together and thinking “how does he not know about Tyler?” Because I’ve seen the movie. And the book is just so much better - granted they always are, but this book is special to me because I truly got to delve deep into split personalities and how you can see bits of one personality shine through another. I’d highly recommend this book to anyone - the afterword is what pulls it all together. Realizing fight club started as a 7 page short story about men bonding. But hardcore bonding.

I’m BEAT from finishing this novel. I enjoyed the concepts behind the book, but overall it was a really slow read and just word vomit. Some of the details were beautiful and others just didn’t make any sense. His style of writing is very obscure and sometimes he just jumps all over the place.

This book was insane from start to finish. Your opinion of everybody changes so vastly from the beginning of the book until the end. I kind of hated how life just went back to normal, but of course, Amy is a manipulator. Go figure 🤷🏼‍♀️

This book was just a mess of conspiracy, anxiety, and a whole lot of fucked up. Great writing, not great ideas. Personally, I read this book fast to get it over with. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I had a hard time putting this book down for the sole fact that it kept getting crazier and crazier. You were never able to see the twists coming and when they did you were so shook to your core that you had to keep reading to figure out how you missed it.
