I'm a sucker for a locked room mystery and YOU ARE FATALLY INVITED really packed a punch (and featured a gorgeous house map at the start to act as a guide!)
This story was loaded with a cast of authors, all guilty of some heinous act or another, and watching them get picked of one by one had me pulling on my detective hat and trying to put the pieces together (I got halfway there lol)
Overall, a really fun read that leans into all the mystery and thriller tropes! As a debut, I can't wait to see what Ande writes next!
Thank you to Bantam for the free copy for review!

This book and its characters were unhinged in all the best ways!
The story was popcorn-worthy, the cover is fantastic, and I just had an overall fun time reading this one.
There were a couple parts of the story that didn’t fully work for me - hence the 4 stars - but I can easily see this book being one I pick up again and again!
**yes, I did read the other two books that have been compared to this one and I personally preferred this story over the others**

THE UNWORTHY is my first foray into Agustina's full-length works (her short story collection was great!) and, coming in at 175 pages, I think it ultimately left me wanting so much more.
Dripping with mystery and despair, we get a hint at what the world of THE UNWORTHY is - it's bleak y'all 😬 - and the story being fully told in journal entries added an urgency to a plot that did seem to meander a good amount for the first half.
HOWEVER, that second half?! SUCKED ME IN
The tragic love story and the unraveling of our main character's lead-up to joining the Sacred Sisterhood added so much depth to the story and I really just wanted more more more!
Early reviews for this one have been quite divisive and I can see why, but the latter half really altered my feelings on this one!
Thank you Scribner for the ARC for review - out March 4!

This book was told mainly through press and interviews and just didn’t dive as deep as I was hoping it would!
When Finlay's elderly neighbor's (Mrs. Haggerty) house becomes a crime scene, she turns to Finlay for a place to stay for the weekend until things get cleared up. Amidst trips to book club and late night neighborhood watches, Vero and Finlay are beyond ready for this sleepover to come to an end.
FINLAY DONOVAN DIGS HER OWN GRAVE was such a fun addition to the Finlay series!
The hijinks were top-tier and the potty training debacle added some levity while feeling true to life.
We got more Cam, Nick, and Javi in this one and are left with quite the cliffhanger as we near the end of this series 👀
Overall, I found this to be a really fun continuation of Finlay and Vero's adventures together!
Thanks to NetGalley, St. Martin's Press, and Minotaur Books for the ARC in exchange for an honest review - out March 4!
