Was not prepared to be hit with all those tears 😭

“Hestia,” I said, “I give this to you as an offering.”

The goddess tilted her head. “I am the least of the gods. Why would you trust me with this?”

“You’re the last Olympian,” I said. “And the most important.”

“And why is that, Percy Jackson?”

“Because Hope survives best at the hearth.”

Oops, I read it in a day and loved every minute of it.

What a twisty, messed up book 🙃

This book had a lot of great elements, but also had too many elements. 😅

There were just so many things that I wish were expanded on that weren’t because of everything else that was going on at the same time. BUT enjoyable for what it is.

You & I, Rewritten

This is a booksta fave (written by a big bookstagrammer and cover designed by the one and only Sam), so I had high hopes, but ooh, this is cringey. There’s a lot of telling instead of showing, and Will is insufferable as a lead character. I don’t care enough about him and his (possible?) growth to continue any further.

It’s always a real treat to read a Karen M. McManus novel and this one is no exception.

I loved the main character and the relationships she had with her sister and friends and more than friends 😉 and loved the amateur sleuth vibes this one had!

Give me creepy wellness programs for rich people and I will come!!

Lol big fan of this book. The main character is hella unlikeable, and gullible, but this book is about a culty fitness group, so no real surprises there.

I can most definitely see this book not being for everyone, but it’s a niche that has my name on it, so I am the reader for this book!!

I’m a huge fan of Marrs’ work, but this one is just droning on a bit too much to make me want to read another 400 pages.
